Intro #
Lisa LeBlanc keeps amazing me and this hidden gem is no surprise. This song was not easy to find because it isn’t available anywhere apart from the one or two videos on Youtube that are 9 years old!! It’s no surprise though. Many of her songs are sung in concert first and then once her fans clamor loud enough she’ll put out an album with the song on it.
Thank you Youtube for somehow putting this in front of me.
Favorite lyric #
Very simply, it reminds me of a lesson I’ve learned and written down for myself in my many notebooks.
Love is not enough.
Nor has it ever been.
My mistake. I was wrong.
That really ties in together with this set of lyrics that is repeated throughout the song

That last “but…” really made me think of that life lesson.
Who knows what actually comes after that “but…” in Lisa LeBlanc’s song. We can fill in that gap with whatever we want.

Pretty much all the French songs I listen to have the original lyrics on the internet somewhere. This one is an exception and I could not find the lyrics anywhere Because of that, the French lyrics themselves might be incomplete, wrong, or incompletely wrong. If they are, please, let me know.
With the English translation, I do the same as I always do. The meaning overall should remain the same even if the words in English don’t literally mean the exact same thing as the French original.
